Bringing about enduring change

The Mission of the Association of Certified groOrganic Gardeners is to impact the community in such a way as to affect the knowledge, health, and community participation of its members. We firmly believe that knowledge is the key to success, so we invest ourselves in teaching children and adults about the benefits of growing their own food, being ecologically responsible and taking care of our environment.

Through our various activities and educational programs, the Association enjoys emphasizing the teaching of children and seniors as we work to bridge the generation gap. The Association helps to build an educated and responsible society whose members are genuinely concerned with the welfare of our planet, living healthy lifestyles and giving to the community.

A Certified Horticultural Therapist is on staff offering Horticultural Therapy programs for those with special needs, including seniors, children, and adults. We are dedicated to educating communities and individuals as it pertains to the health benefits of organic gardening, nutrition, wholesome foods and a healthy society as a whole.

Association members will enjoy a close knit community with shared resources as well as the added benefit of extra savings on groOrganic merchandise, educational classes and community involvement opportunities throughout the year.
